Since the early 1980's Tanya has been involved in the music and theatre industry.
Tanya has worked in clubs, radio, theatre, television and played to many celebrities. Her emphasis is placed on the art of performing and entertaining and communicating to her audience.
Tanya started her career working with her father, after university she work for Sydney Lipton and was managed by the late Ted Lazlo.
She offers accredited courses in Music and Musical Theatre both privately and through schools..
Instruments taught include:
* Violin
* Guitar
* Piano
All lessons include general musicianship skills and oral training. Music theory available upon request. All lessons last 30+ minutes. Lessons in Musical Theatre availalble in groups or 1-2-1.
Musical Theatre lessons includes:
* Song preparation
* Dramatic Monologue
* Dramatic Improvisation

My son has been a student of Tanya for quite a few years now (about seven?) and I have to say that she’s an amazing teacher for music no matter what sort of discipline (whether piano, guitar, singing .etc). She’s very attentive and can pinpoint every little bit in your performance that you need to improve. 10/10.

She invited him to the Christmas show case after only few months of teaching and he was able to perform on a stage with a live audience right from the start. Her Christmas shows are really welcoming and inclusive with a cheerful atmosphere, not only introducing the children to the stage and performing arts but also creating an environment where children of different ages and backgrounds meet and enjoy playing together. Tanya is the most wonderful music teacher. All the children love her because she makes music and performance fun and joyful, which is after all the point! As a result, my daughter is speeding through the exams and absolutely loving the lessons. As an added bonus, Tanya organises a very professional Christmas performance workshop and show for the children, which really builds their confidence and is a joy to watch. * Grades 1 - 8 covered
* Grade 5 + 6 = GCSE

We also offer support in audition techniques, preparation towards GCSE examinations in music, drama, singing and school entry examinations.
After school hours:
* Individual Lessons after school
* Weekdays + Saturday individual teaching
* Group drama lessons and signing combined on Sundays
